A letter from the Hinman Family
There are moments that feel destined and, for our family, this is one of them. We are honored to share that Sylvan Ridge Winery has returned to its founding family, alongside the revitalization of Hinman Vineyards and the addition of TIOR Wines to our family portfolio.
Our family first established this property in the 1970s. While we passed it on to new owners three decades ago to focus on raising our young family, it has always remained deeply meaningful to us. We are incredibly grateful to the Chambers and Stiltners for their thoughtful stewardship and for entrusting this special place back to our care for generations to come.
This homecoming represents a rare family-to-family transition that keeps this historic estate independent and Oregon-owned. Whether you are discovering us for the first time or have been part of our story along the way, we are grateful to have you here.
As we step into this next chapter, our focus is both rooted in heritage and inspired by what lies ahead. The wines we craft continue a tradition that began over fifty years ago, made to be shared, to bring people together, and to celebrate the moments that matter most.
